IWPC Is organising a Diwali Mela on Saturday, 4 November 2023, from 12 noon to 8 pm. Come join us. Bring your family, friends and colleagues. We have fun stalls selling Diyas, candles, hand-made herbal soaps and cosmetics, organic food (rice, oils, millets), shawls, sarees, bags, jewellery, pottery, clothes, and pretty utility items. Our kitchen will be selling in-house delicacies too. Location: IWPC, 5 Windsor Place When: Saturday, November 4 Time: 12 to 8pm

IWPC is organising a panel discussion on June 7, at the IWPC premises at 4 pm, on the debate around same-sex marriages. The conversation will involve looking at nuances of the law as it exists, rights and benefits that come with legal recognition, and the need for change in perspective. The panel includes- Anand Grover, Supreme Court lawyer; rituparna.borah, @nazariya.qfrg cofounder; @nazariya.qfrg, transgender activist and medical doctor; @jyotsnasmailbox, @genderatworkindia country director; Trideep Pais, criminal lawyer; and @sharif_rangnekar, author and journalist. All are welcome. Entry is free.
