1. Keeping with past tradition, IWPC was quick to respond to the humanitarian crisis faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir in the wake of the devastating floods. The generous donations from its members and well-wishers enabled a collection of Rs 40,000 in cash and Rs 5000 worth of essential medicines. The cash was used primarily to purchase infant milk food and sanitary napkins, which were sent to the Jammu and Kashmir House for further dispatch.
2. IWPC members responded generously to contribute to the winter clothes collection drive for the homeless in Delhi. The clothes were donated to Centre for Holistic Development.
